The Hong Kong Flower Show 2018 – DSD’s exhibit “Energy Revives in Blossoms” was awarded the Grand Award for Outstanding Exhibit (Landscape Display)

The Hong Kong Flower Show 2018 was held between 16 and 25 March 2018 at Victoria Park.  DSD's exhibit was awarded the “Grand Award for Outstanding Exhibit (Landscape Display)”.  The exhibit adopted the theme of “Energy Revives in Blossoms” by displaying a serial of undulating petal features swirled from the central power-generating solar trees mimicking as stamens of the two giant blooming flowers to visualize the theme of the show “Joy in Bloom”.  The displays promoted DSD’s commitment in the application of renewable energy at its facilities and introduced the public about solar energy.
 

The showground was crowded with visitors during the exhibition period. The public was excited to take photos of the blooming flowers and the installation art at DSD’s exhibit.
