Pillar Point Sewage Treatment Works Awarded 2016-2017 Luban Prize for Chinese Construction Projects

Drainage Services Department’s Pillar Point Sewage Treatment Works project and its Contractor, China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited, were awarded the Luban Prize for Chinese Construction Projects (Overseas Projects). The Award presentation ceremony was held on 6 November 2017 in Beijing.
The Luban Prize is awarded biennially to recognize projects and their contractors which meet statutory construction procedures and construction standards, efficient in respect of land uptake and energy consumption, environmentally-friendly, innovative in design, use of technology, materials and equipment commensurate with leading projects in the industry nationally. There are altogether 44 overseas projects being conferred the Prize this year.
