Open for Application: Yuen Long Bypass Floodway Eco Tours

DSD organises “Yuen Long Bypass Floodway Eco Tours” in November and December every year, in order to let teachers and students understand the environmental conservation features incorporated in large-scaled flood prevention projects on site. The Eco Tour includes visits to San Tin Stormwater Pumping Station, Yuen Long Bypass Floodway Low Flow Pumping Station and Inflatable Dam, Engineered Wetland and Nam Sang Wai Kam Tin River Estuary. Visitors may also enjoy the scenery of migratory birds flying southbound at Nam Sang Wai.

Application for this year’s Eco Tour is now opened. Schools and organisations are welcome to join the Eco Tour. Visiting dates and timeslots are as follows:
2, 16, 23, 30 November 2017 (Thursday);
7, 14, 21, 28 November 2017 (Tuesday);
8, 15, 22, 29 December 2017 (Friday);
11, 18 December 2017 (Monday)
(2:30pm – 4:30pm)
