Media Interviewed DSD about Revitalisation of Tsui Ping River

Ming Pao, Wen Wei Po, Sing Tao Daily, Tai Kung Pao and South China Morning Post conducted an interview with our Chief Engineer and Senior Engineer of Drainage Projects Division, Mr KAN Hon-shing and Mr CHAN Hak-keung, on 2 May 2017.  The interview covered DSD’s Revitalisation of Tsui Ping River project.

At the interview, Mr Kan and Mr Chan introduced the objectives and scope of Revitalisation of Tsui Ping River project to the media.  The project includes building movable weirs and a small floating pontoon, planting various aquatic plants and constructing passageways for the watercourse at King Yip Street in Kwun Tong.  It aims to enhance the flood conveyance function of the existing river channel, improve water quality and ecological environment of the river, also to create a public riverine amenity to the community.
