Annual Concrete Seminar 2017 – Durable Concrete and Innovations

The Annual Concrete Seminar (ACS) 2017 was held successfully at the Youth-Square on 26 April 2017 with participation of almost 400 practitioners, scholars and engineers from the construction industry.  The seminar has been held annually on behalf of the Standing Committee on Concrete Technology (SCCT) which was formed in 1982 for all matters relating to concrete construction.  The SCCT comprises representatives from the Development Bureau, Highways Department, Water Services Department, Drainage Services Department, Civil Engineering and Development Department, Architectural Services Department, Buildings Department and Housing Department.

Drainage Services Department was the lead organizing department of the ACS this year with the theme “Durable Concrete and Innovations”.  During the seminar, 7 speakers shared their valuable experience and exchanged ideas with the audience.
