Contract awarded for Contract No. DC/2011/02 “Construction of Lau Fau Shan Trunk Sewerage and Drainage” (Date:13/10/2011)

The Drainage Services Department signed a $158 million contract with the Contractor, China Geo-Engineering Corporation, on 13 October 2011 for construction of trunk sewerage and stormwater drains for improving the sanitary condition and the local drainage system in Lau Fau Shan.

The contract mainly comprises construction of about 2 km of trunk sewers, a sewage pumping station near Deep Bay Road and about 600 m of stormwater drains in Lau Fau Shan.  The contract is scheduled for completion in 2015.
