DSD awarded Contract No. DC/2012/06 “Sewerage at Clear Water Bay Road, Pik Shui Sun Tsuen and West of Sai Kung Town”

The Drainage Services Department signed an around $314 million contract with the Contractor, Welcome Construction Company Limited, on 29 January 2013 for construction of sewerage works in Sai Kung.

The works include construction of (i) about 13.6 km of sewers at 11 unsewered areas; (ii) about 2.8 km of gravity trunk sewers and 500 m of twin rising mains along Razor Hill Road, Clear Water Bay Road and Shun Chi Street; (iii) a sewage pumping station and about 400 m of twin rising mains at Pik Shui Sun Tsuen; (iv) about 3 km of water mains along Clear Water Bay Road and Fei Ngo Shan Road; and (v) ancillary works. The works are scheduled for completion in 2017.
