Contract awarded for Contract No. DC/2011/07 "Sewers at Kam Tin, Tan Kwai Tsuen and Tong Yan San Tsuen, Storm Drains at Fanling and Covers to Tanks at Siu Ho Wan Sewage Treatment Works"

The Drainage Services Department signed a $66 million contract with the Contractor, China Geo-Engineering Corporation, on 4 January 2013 for construction of sewerage facilities and stormwater drains for improving the sanitary condition and the drainage system.

The works include construction of a dry weather flow interceptor and sewers at Kam Tin, sewers at Tan Kwai Tsuen and Tong Yan San Tsuen, storm drains at Fanling and provision of covers to two primary sedimentation tanks at Siu Ho Wan Sewage Treatment Works.  The Contract is scheduled for completion in December 2015.
