DSD signed consultancy agreement for enhanced management of underground sewer and drain networks

The Drainage Services Department signed a $15.63 million consultancy agreement on 2 November with Black & Veatch Hong Kong Limited to conduct a study to enhance the management of underground sewer and drain networks.

The scope of the study comprises the review of sewer and drain asset data and information, evaluation of advanced technologies, formulation of network management tools and rehabilitation and replacement strategies.  The study is expected to take about 30 months to complete.
