Drainage Improvement Works in Eastern District - Design and Construction
The Project comprises the following key elements:
Drainage Upgrading works at Shau Kei Wan, Chai Wan & North Point
(a) Shau Kei Wan – A Kung Ngam Road, Shau Kei Wan Main Street East and Wang Wa Street;
(b) Chai Wan –Yee Shun Street and Kam Yuen Lane; and
(c) North Point – Kam Hong Street and Java Street.
Stormwater Storage Scheme
(a) 1.2 km long stormwater storage tunnel with inner diameter of 12m;
(b) 6 stormwater intake structures, associated drop shafts and adits connecting to the storage tunnel; and
(c) All necessary works, including environmental mitigation works, traffic diversion, utilities diversion, associated reinstatement, drainage, road and slope works and electrical and mechanical (E&M) works.
