Tenders invited for reconstruction and rehabilitation of Kai Tak River (Date: 26/7/2013)

The Drainage Services Department (DSD) today (July 26) invited tenders for the Reconstruction and Rehabilitation of Kai Tak River from Tung Kwong Road to Prince Edward Road East project.

The works mainly include-

-            reconstruction and rehabilitation of an approximately 500-metre-long section of Kai Tak River from Tung Kwong Road to Prince Edward Road East;

-            utilities diversion including the reprovisioning of an affected existing dry weather flow interceptor; and

-            ancillary works including landscaping works, environmental mitigation measures, and related monitoring and audit work.

The works are scheduled to commence in December this year for completion in June 2017.

The DSD has commissioned Atkins China Ltd to design and supervise the works. Interested contractors may obtain the tender forms from Atkins China Ltd at 13/F, Wharf T&T Centre, Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui.

The invitation to tender was gazetted today. The closing time for the tender is noon on September 13. Tender submissions should be placed in the Government Secretariat Tender Box at G/F, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar.
