Project Scope
Construction of new sewerage infrastructures and reconstruction of some existing sewerage facilities of the Tolo Harbour Effluent Export Scheme (THEES) system, to cater for the projected sewage increase from the sewerage catchments
Major Improvements and Benefits
To upgrade the flow capacity of the THEES system so as to minimise effluent overflow from the Tai Po Sewage Treatment Works to the Tolo Harbour and mitigate the water quality impacts to Tolo Harbour due to the overflow effluent
