Hung Shui Kiu Effluent Polishing Plant

Project Scope
To increase the sewage treatment capacity of Hung Shui Kiu Effluent Polishing Plant ("HSKEPP") from 60 000 cubic metres per day ("m3 /day") to 90 000 m3 /day, and the scope of the project comprises installation of the remaining electrical and mechanical facilities and related works
 
Major Improvements and Benefits

HSKEPP will be an essential sewerage infrastructure of HSK/HT NDA and nearby areas, to provide reliable sewage treatment services to the public.  HSKEPP is expected to be at secondary-plus treatment level.  Upon the full development of the whole HSKEPP project, the sewage treatment capacity of HSKEPP will further increase to 90 000 m3 /day
