Harbour Area Treatment Scheme Stage 2A – Upgrading of Stonecutters Island Sewage Treatment Works and Preliminary Treatment Works
Project Scope
- Expansion of the treatment capacity of the existing Stonecutters Island Sewage Treatment Works (SCISTW) from 1.7 million cubic metres per day to 2.44 million cubic metres per day, provision of final disinfection facilities at SCISTW, and
- Upgrading of the eight existing Preliminary Treatment Works at the northern and southwestern sides of Hong Kong Island connecting to the Sewage Conveyance System.
