Project Scope
The scope of the project comprises (a) construction of one detritor; (b) construction of six primary sedimentation tanks; (c) construction of disinfection facilities; (d) construction of sludge de-watering facilities; (e) construction of associated buildings and structures; (f) construction of associated road works, drainage works, pipeworks and landscaping works; and (g) supply and installation of ancillary equipment for the treatment plant
Major Improvements and Benefits
The project aims at expanding the design capacity of Siu Ho Wan sewage treatment plant and upgrading the sewage treatment plant from preliminary treatment to include chemical treatment and disinfection
