The scope of project comprise (a) beautification of the existing riverbanks along Middle Tuen Mun River Channel; (b) revamp the existing maintenance access adjacent to the riverbed with access ramps and stairs; (c) construction of viewing decks and cross-river walkways; (d) provision of dry weather flow intercepting system and water quality enhancement system; (e) provision of features for ecological enhancement and sustainable drainage system; (f) provision of a silt barrier; (g) provision/revamp of footpaths and cycle tracks, railings, pavilions and amenity areas along the riverbanks; (h) adoption of smart and innovative technologies, where applicable, to enhance the control and management of the revitalised Middle Tuen Mun River Channel; and (i) associated works including landscaping, utility works, etc.

To revitalise the existing Middle Tuen Mun River Channel and aims to transform the concrete channel into a vibrant and green environment, enhance the ecological value of the river and foster water-friendly culture.
