Drainage improvement works in Eastern District – remaining works
Project Scope
The scope of the project comprises –
(a) construction of a set of drainage tunnel of about 3.6 kilometres long and with diameter of about 5 metres from Shau Kei Wan and Chai Wan to Pak Sha Wan;
(b) construction of seven intakes, six connection adits and an outfall; and
(c) carrying out ancillary works
Major Improvements and Benefits
The overall capacity of the drainage system in the district is expected to be enhanced and the flood risks will be alleviated
