Drainage Improvement Works in Mong Kok
Project Scope
The scope of project comprises construction of an underground stormwater storage scheme with a storage capacity of about 50 000 m3within Boundary Street Playground; extension of the existing Tai Hang Tung Stormwater Storage Scheme with an increase in storage capacity from 100 000 m3to 220 000 m3; and construction of about 1.2km drainage works along Embankment Road, Boundary Street; Nam Shan Chuen Road, Tai Hang Tung Road and Tai Hang Sai Street.
Major Improvements and Benefits
The project will relieve the flood risk in the Mong Kok area.
