Local Drainage Improvement Works

The local drainage improvement measures are targeted to bring quick local improvements to suit situation changes or to bridge the gap when long-term improvement measures are yet to implement. Besides the addition of local drains and channels, other measures include local dredging, strengthening of river banks, improving reception details at catchpits and other inlets.
