Principal Functions and Duties
- Overseeing operation, maintenance and minor improvement works of drainage and sewerage systems in Kowloon & Southern New Territories region
- Overseeing district drainage matters in Kowloon & Southern New Territories region such as vetting drainage proposals of town planning applications and building submissions for developments, providing drainage connections and providing advice on Government and other projects affecting drainage facilities
- Overseeing operation of DSD hotline and Direct Labour Force in handling sewer blockages and flooding complaints
- Overseeing the development and maintenance of the information technology systems of the O&M Branch
