New procurement procedure for minor works under the Sewage Treatment Division, ST1 & ST2 has been established and is being implemented. Under the new procedure, except approval of the Chief Engineer, only Registered Contractors under the “Divisional Contractor List for Minor Engineering Work for Sewage Treatment Divisions (ST1 & ST2)” and/or the ETWB’s “Approved Supplier of Material and Specialist Contractors for Public Works (Specialist List)” would be invited for bidding minor engineering works. 

Two categories are established under the Divisional Contractor List: 

(1)  Minor Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Works for Sewage Treatment

(2)  Minor Electronic Engineering Works for Sewage Treatment 

Application for admission to the Divisional Contractor List

1.  Download the application,

2.   Complete the application form and mail to Chief Engineer/Sewage Treatment One, 1/F., Administration Building, Shatin Sewage Treatment Works, 1 Shui Chong Street, Shatin, N.T.

3.   Application form should at least incorporate the following documents, (please refer to Notes on the application form for details of the documents to be submitted).

• Copy of Business Registration Certificate; and
• A detailed account of past working experience/job references of your company (with contract number, contract sum, brief description of the works / responsibilities under the contract) and particulars of your key staff; and
• Organization chart of the company. 

Notes:

(a)  Detailed admission criteria could be downloaded (E&M Category, Electronic Category)

(b)  The ETWB Specialist List Contractor of Category “Supply and Installation of Electrical and Mechanical Equipment for Sewage Treatment and Screening Plants” will automatically be included in category (1).

(c)  The application is free of charge.

(d)  Contractors should normally receive its application result within 45 days.

(e)  Contractors who have failed to submit quotation consecutively upon 6 invitations may be regarded as inactive contractor and it may be deleted from the ST Divisions Contractor Lists for Minor Engineering Works.
