DSD awarded with Certificate of Merit of the HKIE Young Green Leader Award 2012 (Date: 18/3/2013)

The Environmental Division of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) presented the Young Green Leader Award 2012 at its 25th Anniversary Dinner on 18 March 2013.

Mr Frankie Tai Lap-for (Engineer/Drainage Projects) was awarded with the certificate of merit, for his contribution in the environmental aspects during design and construction of the projects – Happy Valley Underground Stormwater Storage Scheme and Improvement of Fuk Man Road Nullah in Sai Kung. 

 

The Young Green Leader Award, the first of its kind in Hong Kong, was set up by the Environmental Division of the HKIE to recognize young HKIE members for their notable contributions to the environmental fields and the society.  The criteria of the award include notable contributions and leadership in the environmental field in terms of academic research, contributions to the society, and promotion of environmental awareness.
