The 2016 China Marine Economy Expo

The 2016 China Marine Economy Expo organized by the State Oceanic Administration and the Guangdong Provincial People’s Government was held from 24 to 27 November 2016 at Zhanjiang, Guangdong. The theme this year was “Innovation, Green Development, Opening up, Cooperation”, which attracted participation of enterprises from 53 countries.

It was the first participation of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Guangdong (GDETO) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) in the Expo. The theme of the Hong Kong Pavilion was “Blue Marine’, which featured the “Harbour Area Treatment Scheme” and the “Relocation of Shatin Sewage Treatment Works to Caverns” projects of the Drainage Services Department.
