The Hong Kong Flower Show 2024 – DSD's exhibit "Sharing in Harmony"

14 March 2024

The Hong Kong Flower Show 2024 will be held in the Victoria Park between 15 and 24 March 2024. DSD's exhibit "Sharing in Harmony" was awarded the Gold Award for Unique Feature (Landscape Display).

With the use of three dimensional walls of river-liked form, the exhibit is set into two areas where the "Front portion - Together•River" represents the leisure open space for public uses, and the "Rear portion – Blossom Dreams" symbolizes the DSD's wastewater and stormwater drainage services enabling the sustainable development of Hong Kong. In the "Front portion - Together•River", visitors follow the walking path in river flow through a lush and lavish flowering terrain and the "revitalized" river display to enjoy leisure public space, while visitors will enjoy the joyous and energetic vibes created by the reflection of flowers in mirrors in the "Rear portion – Blossom Dreams". Visitors travelling between these two distinct areas embrace the theme of "Sharing in Harmony".

To tie in with the 35th anniversary of DSD, we create a "Time Corridor" to glimpse the past, review the present and reach into the future.  A giant gacha machine is also set up in the exhibition area to add a playful atmosphere to the public during the flower viewing period.
