DSD awarded Agreement No. CE 88/2017 (DS) “Drainage Improvement Works in Mong Kok – Investigation”

The Drainage Services Department (DSD) signed a HK$6.8 million consultancy agreement on 26 June 2018 with Black & Veatch Hong Kong Limited for undertaking the investigation for the drainage improvement works in Mong Kok.

The scope of the consultancy agreement comprises preliminary design for the drainage improvement works in Mong Kok, and it will last for about 18 months.  DSD adopts NEC4 Professional Services Contract (PSC) Option A for the consultancy, and this is the first NEC4 PSC in Hong Kong.  The new NEC4 PSC enables DSD and the consultant to timely complete the study on the viable schemes for the proposed flood prevention works within the preset time frame and advances the implementation of innovative and sustainable flood protection solutions.
