DSD awarded Contract No. DC/2017/03 “Upgrading of West Kowloon and Tsuen Wan Sewerage – Phase 1”

The Drainage Services Department signed a works contract of $141 million with Po Wing H. P. Drainpipe & Construction Company Limited on 10 October 2017. The contract aims at improving the water quality in the coastal area of West Kowloon and Tsuen Wan Bay, the works include construction of 4 dry weather flow interceptors (DWFIs) in Tsuen Wan and 4 DWFIs in West Kowloon, together with modification of 39 existing DWFIs in West Kowloon. The 48-month works contract commenced on 28 September 2017.
