At the interview, Mr Kan explained the flood prevention strategies in Hong Kong, which include the flood interception, flood storage and localized drainage improvement works, and introduced to the participants the movable weirs, water harvesting system and various green features adopted in the Happy Valley Underground Stormwater Storage Scheme.  He then guided the participants to the storage tank and further explained the design and operation need of the stormwater storage tank.
