DSD awarded Agreement No. CE 49/2016 (DS) “Review of Drainage Master Plan in Tuen Mun, Tsuen Wan and Kwai Tsing – Feasibility Study”

The Drainage Services Department signed a $8 million consultancy agreement on 1 August 2017 with Black & Veatch Hong Kong Limited for undertaking the feasibility study for the review of drainage master plan in Tuen Mun, Tsuen Wan and Kwai Tsing.

The scope of the consultancy agreement comprises examining the performance of the existing stormwater drainage and proposing short-term and long-term drainage improvement measures to further reduce the risk of flooding in the study area and cope with future developments.  The consultancy agreement will last for about 36 months.
