The Director of Water Supplies, Mr Ma Lee-tak, and the Director of Drainage Services, Mr Chan Chi-chiu, are saddened by the death of Mr Ng Kee-wah, Technical Officer of the Drainage Services Department (DSD). They have sent their condolences to the family of Mr Ng on behalf of the staff of the Water Supplies Department (WSD) and the DSD.

Last Saturday (October 22) Mr Ng took part in a 10-kilometre run held by the WSD at Tai Mei Tuk, Tai Po, to mark 160 years of water supply in Hong Kong. Mr Ng felt unwell during the event and was sent to hospital. He passed away early this morning (October 26).

A visit has been paid by staff representing the departments to Mr Ng's family members this morning to understand their needs in this time of distress and assistance will be provided to them.
