New opening hours for offices of the Drainage Services Department with effect from 1 July 2006:

Office/Services

Opening Hours

(i)

HQs Gen Enquiry Hotline (2877 0660)

8.30 am – 5.15 pm from Monday to Friday, lunch break 12.45 pm – 1.45 pm

 

(ii)

Enquiry Hotline relating to Sewage Charge/Trade Effluent Surcharge

(2834 9432)

 

8.30 am – 5.15 pm from Monday to Friday, lunch break 12.30 pm – 1.30 pm

 

Incoming calls outside the service hours are recorded in a Telephone Recording System for follow-up actions in the following working day.

 

(iii)

Counter Enquiry Service relating to Sewage Charge/Trade Effluent Surcharge

 

8.30 am – 5.15 pm from Monday to Friday, lunch break 12.30 pm – 1.30 pm

(iv)

Inspection and/or request for drainage record plans at the Drawing Office at

 

(a)

43/F Revenue Tower (covering Hong Kong Islands and all outlying islands)

(b)

13/F Kowloon Government Offices (covering Kowloon and New Territories)

 

(v)

Hotline for making Drain/Sewer Blockage Complaints (23001110)

 

24 hours a day from Monday to Sunday

(vi)

Handling of sewer blockage complaints and clearing of blocked sewers/drains.
